Hey Wanna Play is a friendly, community-focused gaming store in Plantation, FL, offering a wide range of tabletop games, events, and hobby supplies. Owned by Chris and supported by an amazing teamāJose, Kelly, Emily, and Karolāthe store is a welcoming hub for players of all stripes.
Store Layout:
Warhammer Hall (our converted VTM space) is located to the left
Merchandise lines the central section
Table space is in the back, where Friday Night Magic regularly runs
Restrooms are located in the rear of the store

The kitchen offers 15 pre-made options, including Ham & Cheese Sandwiches and Teriyaki Salmon Bowls, along with bottled drinks and snacks.

A diverse collection of D&D, Warhammer, Star Trek, and other RPG books, Magic: The Gathering cards, figurines, model paint, and more. Specialty orders available on request.

Haller Games LARP Administration(HGLA) is an online utility for managing Live Action Role Playing Games using the By Night Studio Mindās Eye Theatre system. The system allows for a fully online management of characters, plots, rumors, actions, and a variety of other tools. It is designed with organization play in mind, allowing characters from one game to be sent as a visitor to other games within the platform.
All Players Must Be 18 Years Of Age Or Older
Broward By Night is a Vampire the Masquerade game, and will involve discussions of/portrayals of violence, dark themes, and occasional sensuality. You must be 18 or older to play here. unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Likewise, all characters must be 18 years or older - we do not allow child characters.
People Are More Important Than LARPs.
The well-being of yourself and your fellow players is more important than any game session, any character, or any scene.
If you see a fellow player in distress in a game, please check-in with them and if they are not sure if they are okay, or if they are not okay, pause the scene and calibrate with them, or call on a Staff member. If you donāt know what the Okay Check-In System is, ask a staff member and we will show it to you.
Be good to each other out-of-game, regardless of how terrible you are to each other in-game. You donāt have to be best friends, but you have to be civil and appropriate with one another out-of and in-character.
Negotiation is required, and consent is key
We are first and foremost a collaborative/Nordic style game, currently operating under By Night Studios Laws Of The Night. As such, we ask that players negotiate outcomes of scenes with one another, and that they are prepared to win some, lose some, and will need to collaborate with one another in order to achieve character goals. It is our goal to keep this a Nordic-style/collaborative game, but that may change if issues arise during the game.ā negotations-and-veiled_actions
Sometimes, someone may not want to play the scene you are proposing - and that is okay. If so, thank them for their time and move on - we operate on the principle that āNoā is a complete sentence.
In-Character Actions Have In-Character Consequences
That said, there will be times when your In-Character choices drastically limit the options available to you moving forward. Sometimes, characters make choices and take actions that will lead to the only options available being negative outcomes - we encourage you to accept these outcomes, as they too are good stories. Tragedy and loss are core themes of the World of Darkness.
Follow the Establishment Rules
All patrons are required to adhere to the establishment's rules at all times. The guidelines and etiquette set by the establishment take precedence over game rules or roleplay activities. It is your responsibility to be familiar with these rules. Please ensure compliance whether you're in the store or participating in Broward By Night.
